This work consists of 21 short scenes that all include a pineapple. I use the pineapple as a filter to make a cross section through the enormous amount of video material available on the internet.

Certain commonalities appear, for instance the pineapple as a symbol of wealth: The rich white man throwing pineapples to the poor, the exotic drink in the computer game ‘The Sims’ and the peculiar foreground framing of a pineapple a porn movie.

The film portrays the accelerating diversity and availability of media without making any conclusions or judgment.
The method is simple and the artistic choices are kept at a minimum so the film holds the experience of randomness we know from zapping through tv-channels from around the world
